One of the actors, a trans-model (of course) describes it as being about the era of Trump: an updated version of the Salem witch trials. Because, uh, yeah: Trump is burning witches at the stake everywhere.
Oh, metaphorical? I see.
Maybe that description of the film is more a function of the unhinged nature of the actor in question. We’ll see soon enough. But can you put anything past the Trump hysteria of Hollywood? Meryl Streep? Robert De Niro?
