Needing to take a break from politics and social justice doesn’t make you a Nazi. It does keep you sane. So when the social justice in my comics get to be too much, I have to retreat a little. (Okay, a lot.)
It seems these days every single page and panel of current comic books are just filled with WAY too preachy content. Truth be told a lot of people feel this way a lot. A group of people went to Marvel and asked them to back it off a bit and let us just enjoy our comics and guess what? Axel Alonso called them Nazis, nice way to treat your core market.
Alonso finally left his postion of Editor in chief of Marvel in Nov. of 2017 but many say the damage was done and it will take a long time to sort our beloved books out. Have people lost sight of how amazingly boring ALL of the late night talk shows are? They are non stop Trump bashing and virtue signalling. Is that what we want for our comics?
Come on please give us a break… we get it you're "woke" still give it a rest, nobody cares
