If you cover your ears and just watch the movie Black Panther you will likely enjoy it a lot, for sure a lot more than having to listen to all the misinformation they spout about white colonizers.
As a comic book movie with lots of action and fighting it’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect. But the story is the most innacurate when it comes to history and how this Magical land is so rich and peaceful because the “evil white man” never colonized it.
That’s a lovely story but it’s not factual. How long did Africa exist before the English showed up to colonize and take slaves? What 150,000 or so years? So explain to me why the English were so far advanced and why those Africian nations hadn’t come anywhere near to the same level of advancement?
They try to make it seem like the ONLY reason any Africian country or community is doing poorly is because of that “evil white man” but we all know that’s not true. Having even the most basic knowledge of history and common sense would show you how untrue that is.
My review, interesting movie as long as you watch it with the sound off or your ears plugped. Way too much social justice nonsense in this one.
Another side note, how lame listening to all the members of the Far Left press going on and on about how it’s about time we had a black super hero and had him/her carry the movie. I guess they forgot all about the “Blade” Trilogy with Wesley Snipes that did very well at the box office between 98 and 2004 over three movies. I guess we just weren’t “WOKE” enough back then to care about the color of our hero’s skin. So nice to see how backwards we are now.
I was totally going to make the comment about Blade, until I saw it near the end of the review. Totally agree with you btw.
